A friend from college approached me while I was having coffee after a meeting with a client. I was surprised because I haven’t seen him for a number of years. He was in the area when he saw me so he thought he’d approach and say hi.
But what would have been just hi, how are you, turned into a two-hour chat about jobs and income. He was in dire need of a buck or two, he told me. He lost his job when his employer opted to close his business due to bankruptcy. It’s been three months and he’s still not able to find a new job.
So he told me that he is a reseller at arvixe and that he is doing online work for now. I told him he could earn more if he will concentrate on it and we got to talk about alternative means of income.
