When a guy friend of mine came over with my cousin, we covered a lot of topics over a span of five hours. It was actually so much fun talking to old friends. He was not able to bring with him his wife and kid but he promised to bring them when he comes back one of these days. We talked a lot about our respective families, especially our little kids. We also talked about being consultants. He is an engineer and currently a project consultant for a big Japanese construction firm in the country. My cousin is a co-engineer that’s why they know each other. Beng, my cousin, has been more of a close girl friend than a cousin to me. We were all classmates in high school. Reminiscing and talking about current lives is really fun.

And then it went to our daily routine, G and I being both work at home parents. He wakes up really early daily and work until seven in the evening. He only stops to take a break for lunch. Thrice or four times a week, he goes out to do field work. And then every Saturday, he meets up with online friends to play Bingo.

I truly admire the guy. We ended up saying goodbye well over dinner. It was a fun meet up.
