Meetings these days, it need not be face to face with people you need to discuss things with. You can be anywhere in the world and via web conferencing you can attend a meeting. All you have to do is set it up online via a web conferencing service and you are all up!
I am reminded of my old corporate life where I use to represent my boss in executive meetings whenever she was out of the country. It amazed me how we could talk to people from different continents at various times and still feel that they were in the board room with us. That kind of setup was implement throughout my stay with the company and I believe even after I left. It’s very convenient and less costly than have all the executives in one country and one room where they have to fly out and check in hotels just for an executive meeting that can be done via online with some of the key individuals in the comfort of their own offices abroad or in their own homes.
Tough competition
A lot of people I know are taking up Culinary Arts these days. They are aspiring to become chefs one day. When I heard that another cousin of mine will be taking up Culinary Arts, I told her to be mindful of the fact that there’s tough competition when she goes to find Chef or Head Cook Jobs in the future. That’s because more and more people are taking up the course and demand is steady but not totally increasing tenfold.
I told my cousin to also consider other courses like baking. That way even if she can’t find a job right away she can always bake goodies and sell it. I’ll be the first one to buy!
Bride and groom necklaces
My cousin and his bride have very unique ideas for their upcoming wedding. The occasion will be held on a Friday night instead of the usual weekend afternoon. The bride and groom will be wearing non-traditional garb with their stainless steel necklaces. The theme of the wedding will be magical and magicians and circus artists will be everywhere in the reception venue.
Plus a lot more stuff you don’t normally hear or read about in weddings. I know it will be a very interesting wedding that’s for sure. I just hope they can pull it off considering they are doing all the organizing and preparation themselves.

Sometimes even the best of us find ourselves in legal trouble. It could be work-related or something to do with our personal issues. Something new to tinker with
My brother gave me a Playbook. He knows how much I love to have something new to tinker with. And he delivered as usual! Thanks to my hint-dropping abilities. Hahaha!
Anyway, I should tell you that I get bored easily so I need to have something to do always. I have a number of gadgets that are given to me and some I bought for myself. I bring with me a couple of gadgets so that whenever I have time to kill while waiting, I have something with me to tinker with.
Back bliss
I work long hours and I think working adults know this. Sitting in front of the computer for hours and hours means back ache. And that is not something to relish after a long hard day at work. Good thing I have a really comfortable foam mattress to lay down on. The mattress brings back bliss to me!
I am easily pleased. I am that type of person. After a long hard day at work, all I want is to go home to a cozy environment, a hot meal, a warm bed and a good night sleep. That’s it and this woman is one happy camper.
