Dinner with my loved ones

July 24th, 2008

I know most of you can relate to what I am about to write here. I just love spending time with my family and relatives. I love joking around with my brother and my cousins. I love discussing current events with my parents and the other elders in the family. I need not worry about offending anyone with my views. I can be myself because these are the people who know me inside out. These are the same people who have stood with me through the worse of my life. The very same people who are ready to bash anyone who will slander my name.

Because I am now over the worse, I thought of giving a dinner party for family and close relatives. No outsiders, just us. This is also the best time to catch up with the relatives that I haven’t seen for a number of years already, having lived elsewhere for a period of time. Yes, I did keep in touch with them through phone calls and emails. But there’s nothing more fun than to chat with them personally.

To make it more special, I will check out what Celebrations.com can suggest when it comes to dinner parties so I can incorporate it in the one I am organizing.

I too love spending time with the family, especially over a meal. Just yesterday, we were all at my brother’s son’s b-day party. Good food, good music, and excellent conversations. Now that we are all adults, getting older, every time becomes more precious.
