Giving back to the community
I believe in karma. I believe that what goes around comes around. It is just a cycle and sooner or later, whatever good or bad thing that we did will come smack us on the face. This is what I learned early on in life. And this is what live by.
I believe in sharing whatever I have to others. I believe in giving back to the community. Not because I am innately kind. But because of what I live by. What goes around comes around. If I do something good for others, I will receive something good in return. It may not be instant but I know it will happen. If I share my blessings to the community, the community will give back something to me.
So when I heard about Car Angel’s Donate a Car project, I just knew I had to do my share. CarAngel.com is an organization that helps fund children’s causes around the world. They focus more on underprivileged children and those children from the third-world countries. They fund Free Children’s DVDs aimed at kids who need support for their studies. That’s what Car Angel is all about.
Car Donations are being sold to other people. Proceeds from the sale of the cars donated will then be used to fund children’s causes as well as fund their own projects.
So if you have an old car you rarely use or even one that needs an overhaul or a car rotting away at the garage, I suggest you donate it to Car Angel. They will issue you a receipt that you can use as tax deduction come filing period. And then they will sell the donated cars. The proceeds will be used by Car Angel to fund various children’s causes. It will also be used to create more children’s DVDs that they distribute to underprivileged kids.
