Keeps me company at night
I stay awake most nights. I am insomniac. That’s why I prefer to do most of my work at night, when instead of counting sheep or staring at the ceiling, I would rather use the time I am awake for something productive. There are nights, though, when I don’t have the energy to work anymore. When I would want to just lie down and not think of serious things. That’s when I open my cable tv and tune in to something feel good. Like a cooking show. Or a home makeover. Or a movie in HBO. I love that last one, especially when the movie’s on is one of my favorites.
CABLE TV has become my companion since I started my consultancy work. It keeps me company at night, when the house is already quiet, the kids sleeping. I have my own home-office setup at the den of my house. I bought a huge tv set months ago and I put it there. Most of the time, it’s on even in the morning and afternoon.
