Kids going online
The internet can be a useful tool but at the same time, we need to recognize the danger in using it as well. There are so many sites posing as wholesome but the reality is, it contains harmful data to the kids.
We can do something about our kids’ internet surfing. We can ask for help from IT experts in the family. Put up a firewall. Define those sites that the kids cannot/should not access.
There is a case wherein a teen was seduced online. Even her mom’s strict rules couldn’t protect her daughter. And this hurts. I am sure that the mom is blaming herself. But remember that we can only do so much. We just have to make sure that we are doing our best/are more vigilant about guiding our kids when they go online.
