Little girl’s dream
When I was a little kid, my plan was to become just like my mom. A housewife. I dream of marrying Mr. Right and then living in a house looking like those cute little cottages with Amish fireplaces and baking breads and knitting or sewing. Pure domestication.
I got older, got married, had kids. Reality came crashing down on me. I realized that in this time, working is a must. There can never be enough income coming in unless you are the wife of Bill Gates. The cute little cottage is stricken out of my list but I made sure that portions of my house looked like it. I can’t bake or knit. I can sew decently, though. And I am no domesticated woman. I am a part-time mom and career woman. I juggle the two jobs. My mom is lucky to have my dad because she was able to concentrate on raising us and taking care of my dad.
