Little investments

April 29th, 2008

One of the things I learned from an old friend of mine is that there are indulgences in life that I can actually consider as good investment as well. Like buying jewelries. Growing up, I was used to wearing a pair of earrings, a watch when going out, nothing fancy of course, a necklace that I my parents gave me when I turned seven, and a bracelet that my grandma gave me. I was never a person who wears too much jewelries. Simplicity is what I want in life.

But I learned to invest in little things. Jewelries that I once looked at as luxuries now became an investment to me. So when my friend brought over medical id bracelets, I bought two. Not too expensive but something you can invest in with little amount to shell out.
