Obama fever

obamainauguration

Did you watch the inauguration of US President Barack H. Obama? Did you see how many people attended it? No matter if it is extremely chilly that day. It didn’t even matter that they couldn’t see the front where Obama was. It is enough that they were forming part of a history that will never be forgotten by many for a long time.

It was a jumble of emotions for me. We need change. And for most of us, including non-Americans, he represents that change.

Goodluck, Mr. President! Our prayers are with you.

What an amazing day for America. I’m so excited about our new president. I’m looking forward to some change for the better. Thanks for sharing and stopping by my place.

  2. I watched it and got inspired and emotional. I’m Canadian but it doesn’t take an American to be inspired by his refusal to give up on his dreams

That’s what I thought as well, Maria. I am an Asian but I could feel the hope that every one surely felt in DC.
