I know my parents’ neighbor back in another country that is an alcoholic. He would rather spend whatever little amount he earns daily in a bottle of alcohol than give something to his wife and kids. He would rather spend his free time binging on alcoholic drinks with his friends than spend time with his little kids. That is his sorry plight that so many people who knows him pities him for.
I told my parents that there are numerous alcohol rehabs around the globe that he can be sent to. But there should be a desire within him to change before anything else. That is what will make a big difference. Without that desire, all will be for naught.
Crib bedding for my little angel
When I learned about my pregnancy, I was ecstatic. I started buying baby products that I thought would be needed by my newborn baby. I bought a baby stroller, a crib, some baby clothes and a teddy bear. I knew in my heart that I was going to have a baby girl that’s why I also bought a butterfly and lady bug crib bedding for my little angel (similar to the one you can see here).
I think this is one of the joys of being a mom. Buying things for a newborn baby is a happy event in our lives. More so in my case since I have a lovely baby girl. We start with baby products like crib beddings and baby clothes… and then we can still look forward to gowns for debuts.
Being a mom is surely a blessing.
Memorabilia
When I like an event that happened to me or I have been to, I keep a memento of that event. And I have a lot. We once went to this really cozy coffee shop that plays cool jazz music non stop. They have lounge chairs and Japanese mats that really lures people to just hang out at the place. That place sells paintings made by local artists. I could not decide which to choose that night so he chose one for me. That painting still hangs in a corner of my room.

I don’t like being idle. That is why when I am not working, taking care of my baby, blogging, or reading, I find ways to make my time worthwhile. And I thought I will ask friends about products or services that they can recommend and start writing blog entries about Great Finds.

My travel plans
Before I had my little angel, I have been a traveler. I have traveled to many different places and have found that I blend well with different cultures. I love meeting people and seeing places and trying out new things. I should have kept a journal of the places I have been to. That is the only regret I have. It is different when you are just fresh from a trip and then you tell your experience. It would have been different when you tell it 3, 5 or 10 years after.
That is why I love the concept of a travel blog. This is the best way for a traveler to chronicle his or her trip and what wonderful, horrible, extraordinary experiences he or she had during it. Real Travel’s travel blog is an example of an online journal written by real travelers who have been on a real trip somewhere off the globe. In that blog, you can find great destinations, should you want to find one and would want a first hand information about that place you chose. You can also find a forum where you can talk to other travelers.
I have some travel plans for next year and I will make sure I chronicle each one of it. I hope to be able to go to Wales, just like the most recent entry in travel blog, The Iron Ring Castles of Wales. And hope I will be able to give justice to the place I will go to with a post as detailed and informative as that.
