Umbrella supermarket
As I have mentioned in my previous posts, I am an investments consultant. I also act as a financial adviser from time to time to various clients as well as to family and friends. And because they call me the finance person that they know, they ask me pretty much everything that concerns finances or money matters. When the foreign exchange rate was fluctuating, my phone would not stop from ringing because they all want to hear my opinion and prediction for the coming months, so they could start exchanging their foreign currencies or if they could still hold on to it and wait for the currency to strengthen. When the stock market started a downswing that affected so many people in the family, they all called me up so I could help them dispose of their shares of stocks. When the controversy about a finance official of the company came up, they asked me to give my take on it. A cousin even called me up if I know where he can get ahold of an Umbrella Supermarket. So you get my drift. Even though I have little knowledge of an issue, they ask me about it. What I do then is I read a lot and I stay updated so I will not disappoint everyone who asks for my opinion.
