I found reading through some posts on the Smashing Magazine blog gave me good ideas. I see that you are using Wordpress, so look for one of their WP developer tool box posts. I found that little details in tweaking a free WP theme worked well for me. For example, updating the icon gifs to something appropriate to my business theme, thinking about the HTML and javascript codes, and what plug ins I need to achieve better SEO.
